Martin Hooss is a German Objectivist scholar currently based in Prague, Czechia. Martin holds a master’s degree in English Literature and Classical Philology from Trier University, Trier, and a master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from CEVRO Institute, Prague. Between 2021 and 2023, Martin implemented and headed the New Frontiers of Objectivism campaign which aims to promote Objectivism within the libertarian movement. Since 2023, he has been working as a Philosophical Advisor, Content Creator, and Teacher for Ricardo's Time, a Peruvian think tank which promotes Objectivism in South and Latin America. In 2024, Martin joined Objective Standard Institute as a Fellow and Instructor. In addition to Objectivism, Martin’s research interests include (utopian and) dystopian fiction, virtue ethics, studies of transition, and microeconomics. Martin considers Aristotle, Ludwig von Mises, Henry Hazlitt, and Ayn Rand as the four thinkers who have influenced him the most.
